Police release photo of suspect after 'bottle of liquid' pointed at shop workers in attempted robbery

Police have issued a picture of a man suspected of an attempted robbery at a Staffordshire shop which saw a bottle of liquid "pointed" at staff.

The incident happened at a Co-op store on Marks Walk in Lichfield on October 4.

Staffordshire Police said a man pointed a bottle of liquid at workers before demanding money from the till.

The force has released a picture of a man officers want to speak to, and urged anyone who knows who he is to get in touch.

In the appeal, police said:  "If you have any information to identify this male, please contact Staffordshire Police, incident 664 – October 4."
