The body of tragic One Direction star Liam Payne is being flown back to the UK by tomorrow (Monday, November 4) - and his funeral is expected to take place next week in Wolverhampton.

Funeral directors have reportedly transferred the singer from a morgue in Buenos Aires to the British Cemetery located in the northern region of the Argentinian capital which was established in the 1820s.

Reports claim that his funeral is reportedly set to take place at St Paul's church in Wolverhampton - there has been no official announcement at this stage.

The 31 year-old singer-songwriter tragically died after falling from the third floor of his hotel in Buenos Aires last month.

Argentinian press say the repatriation will happen today or Monday, following approval given to his devastated father Geoff to bring him home once the embalming process has been completed

Respected Argentinian newspaper La Nacion stated: "All the documents are ready for the former One Direction singer to return to his homeland so a funeral can take place there next week. When Geoff Payne reached Argentina on October 18 he was told the repatriation process could take between four and five days, but because of the circumstances surrounding his son's death things took longer than expected.", reports the Mirror.

Prosecutors are still waiting for confirmation on the toxicology and tissue test results
