An appeal for information has been launched after a man was robbed of his phone.

West Midlands Police have released an image of two men it said it wanted to speak to following the incident, which happened on Hagley Road on June 7.

The incident saw the man robbed of his phone and then had money transferred from his bank account.

The force has asked for anyone with any information to get in contact as soon as possible through Live Chat on the West Midlands Police website or by calling 101.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We're trying to trace this pair after a man was robbed of his mobile phone in Birmingham.

"It happened in Hagley Road at around 3.15am on June 7 and money was then transferred from his bank account.

"We appreciate these are not the clearest of images but we're hopeful someone may have information to assist our investigation.
