Woman in hospital after car crashes into barber's shop in Gornal
A woman was taken to hospital after a car reversed into a barber's shop at lunchtime today.
The accident happened in Gornal Wood just before noon when the car reversed into Top Cuts Hair by Dave in Louise Street, causing extensive damage to the shop.
Police confirmed as of 1.15pm the road was still closed due to accident investigation work.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to an incident on Louise Street in Gornal Wood, Dudley at around 11.55am.
"An ambulance and paramedic officer were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered a car had hit a building.
"The driver, a woman, was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and taken to Russells Hall Hospital for further treatment."
