William Henry, 31, and Brian McIntosh, 29, were found dead in the car park of an industrial estate off Moor Street, in Brierley Hill, on September 30.

They were in a Range Rover at the Albion Works industrial estate when they were killed.

Mr Henry and Mr McIntosh, who both had children and were from the Bartley Green area of Birmingham, were the victims of the third shooting in the Black Country in three days.

An inquest was formally opened into their deaths on Tuesday at the Black Country Coroners Court, in Oldbury.

The hearing was told that Mr McIntosh's cause of death was given as multiple gunshot wounds of the face and neck, while Mr Henry's was given as a gunshot wound to the head.

Area coroner Joanne Lees adjourned the hearing, for a date to be fixed, to allow the police to continue their investigation and court proceedings to continue.

Jonathan Houseman, 32, from Stourbridge, has appeared in court accused of murdering the pair.
