Man taken to hospital after two vehicle crash
A man was freed from a car following a crash before being taken to hospital with a head injury.
Two cars crashed on Hagley Road West, in Quinton, at 00.40am today, said West Midlands Fire Service.
The crash involved a black BMW and silver Toyota.
West Midlands Fire Service said two male drivers were involved in the crash. One was freed from the wreckage by firefighters.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to reports of a collision between two cars on Hagley Road West, Birmingham.
"A man was taken to hospital with a head injury."
Fire crews from Oldbury and Woodgate Valley fire stations were called to the scene.
