Last day to say ‘cheese’ for competition
Time is running out to have your little one photographed for our Baby of the Year competition.
Today is the last day you can take your child to Wolverhampton’s Mander Centre for a photograph.
to have their smile captured.We don’t want you to miss out, so join our experienced photographer who is ready to make them look picture perfect.More than 200 youngsters have been photographed so far this week while more than 430 children were snapped for the contestat intu Merry Hill last week.
Parents and carers will be invited back to the venue to choose their favourite picturethey like the best and this will be entered into the competition. If they cannot able toattend to choose their favourite, one will be picked for them.
After all ofthe children have been photographed they will be split into four age categoriesfor the contest – These will be0-9 months, 10-18 months, 19-35 months and 3-5 years. There will be a winner in all brackets, with a £500 for prize for each category and an extra £250 for the the overall winner.
Express & StarReaders will have the chance to vote for their winner using special tokens which will be printed in the Express & Star.
All of the photographs will be featured in the paper on Wednesday, September 12, and on our website. Once you’ve picked your winner, cut out the special vote tokens, which will be printed each day in the Express&Star until October 13, and complete a Voting Tokens Return Form. If you wish,Tokens can be sent ou can send in your vote tokensin batches or together in one envelope after the last one has been printed, but a Voting Tokens Return Form must be included each time ou send them in. Vote tokens sent in without a form will not be counted. The deadline to return tokens is October 19.
