Have your say over planned travellers’ site in Coseley
A consultation has been launched asking for the views of residents living nearby to a planned traveller's site in Coseley.
Dudley Council has submitted a planning application for the transit site to be built on Budden Road, after bosses approved proposals last month.
Now residents living nearby are being given the chance to have their say, with the consultation running until March 24.
Dudley Council leader Patrick Harley said: "We want to put a stop to unauthorised camps, which cause stress and misery for our residents not to mention thousands of pounds of taxpayers’ money to clean up.
“We believe that the Budden Road land is best placed to accommodate a temporary travellers transit site to solve the problem."
The plans will now go before Dudley Council's planning committee.
