Man killed in crash near Brewood is named by police
A man who died when two cars crashed in South Staffordshire was named today as Malcolm Aplin.
Mr Aplin, who was 59 and from Wolverhampton, was in a car which collided with another on Port Lane between Codsall and Brewood.
A silver Ford Fiesta and silver Vauxhall Corsa crashed on the country lane at around 4.15pm on Sunday.
Emergency services were called and worked to treat the drivers, but Mr Aplin died at the scene.
Staffordshire Police said a 19-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
