'Wonderful son' named as victim of M5 coach tragedy
A man described as a 'wonderful son' was today named as the victim who was killed when he was hit by a coach on the M5.
Nicholas Mowl, 41, was hit on the M5 southbound between junction one and the link with Junction 8 of M6 at Great Barr last Tuesday.
Mr Mowl was confirmed dead at the scene. There were 31 people on the coach, who were assessed for the effects of shock.
Today a tribute from the family described Mr Mowl as a 'wonderful son, brother and uncle who was loved so much'.
Their statement added: "You will always be in our thoughts and memories. Rest in peace."
Today, police appealed for anyone who had spoken to the victim, who was from Solihull, to get in touch.
