Tom Winters: Thousands raised after biker killed just one month after son's birth
Donations have flooded in for the family of a motorcyclist killed just one month after celebrating the birth of his second child.
Tom Winters, aged 22, died after crashing into a tree on Manor Way, Halesowen, on Sunday.
More than £5,500 has been raised in his memory after an online appeal was quickly boosted by scores of donations.
Mr Winters' son Rupert was only one month old, while he also leaves behind Freddie, aged 3, and partner Daisy.
Paramedics and passers-by battled to save Mr Winters following the crash on Sunday but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family said they were 'devastated' to lose him.
A total of £5,547 had been raised for Mr Winters' family as of Thursday morning, with almost 200 people pledging cash in less than two days.

Lewis Tisdall, from Kidderminster, who set up the Just Giving page, said: "Tom was an adored father, son, husband, brother and friend.
"Tom touched the lives of many with his kindness, compassion and beautiful humour. Tom will be missed greatly.
"We are raising money to go to Tom's partner Daisy and two young boys, Freddie, of three years, and Rupert, of just a month.
"The money will help them with unexpected expenses and will also be used to help the boys have a special Christmas during this traumatic time of their life."
Michelle Langford, who was among those to donate money, posted on the page: "Life can be so cruel sometimes only taking the best and at such a young age with so much to live for.
"RIP Tom. God bless you and your lovely family hope my small donation helps your two gorgeous boys and wife."
Rachel Scotford wrote: "Rip Tom, such a lovely lad you will be missed by so many people."
Two ambulances and the Midlands Air Ambulance were sent to Manor Way after the crash happened near the Hagley Road junction at around 9.30am.
It came less than 24 hours after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident on Birmingham Road, Rowley Regis.
