New West Bromwich martial arts centre gets green light to open
A new gym and Chinese martial arts centre has been given the go-ahead to open in the heart of West Bromwich.

The Shaolin Mantis Project will deliver a 'unique style of Chinese martial arts', giving young people the chance to keep active and learn a new skill.
Bosses also said they were hopeful the centre could help divert young people away from crime by giving them something different to do.
The martial arts centre will open in Union Street, taking over the site of a former electrical suppliers, after being approved by Sandwell Council.
West Bromwich councillor Bawa Dhallu said he agreed the centre would be a positive addition to the town.
