Just how much will it cost you to move from the West Midlands to sunnier climes?
Many of us dream of packing up and riding off into the sunset, setting up home in a part of the world with blue skies, sandy beaches and living happily ever after.
Lazing by the pool with a cocktail in hand on the Spanish coast, taking in thrill rides and meeting your favourite characters at Disneyland in Florida, or strolling along the French Riviera may be wonderful ways to spend one's holidays.
But how far would your cash get you compared to in the Black Country and Staffordshire?
Hit Channel 4 travel show A Place In The Sun held a three-day exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham over Friday, Saturday and Sunday to give West Midlanders a taste of what their cash could net them in sunnier climes.
The exhibition was also used to try and ease fears about how Brexit will impact people buying overseas.
Andy Bridge, managing director of A Place In The Sun, said: "In most cases people who were planning an overseas property purchase are going ahead and completing.
"Clearly buyers are still going to be able to own property in Spain and elsewhere once we leave the EU. And if you are looking to live there permanently, you will have more rights for having taken up residency while Britain remains in the EU so those looking to move permanently should consider their timing."
And host Amanda Lamb added "We had so many people through the door. This is our first exhibition post-Brexit so it was going to go one of two ways. It was going to be busy or like the Marie Celeste. So many people seem really up for it, and Spain in particular seems a favourite with people from the West Midlands.
"We've had lots of different people interested in buying for different reasons. You can really get quite a lot for your money at the moment. £150,000 can get you an amazing property, especially in America. The prices there are ridiculous at the moment."
Lee Cooke, sales manager from Connells in Wolverhampton, believes the Black Country and Staffordshire has plenty to offer, and often finds people looking to live abroad tend to be either well off or retired.
He said: "I've sold houses for people who have moved to Australia and never come back, but I've had other people who've gone to Spain and then come back not long after because they felt it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Most people who go abroad are normally either quite well off or looking to go for their retirement."
He added: "The commuter links are great to the north and south. There are some lovely traditional parks in the region and nice areas like Cannock Chase. The shopping is very good and we've got the metro route as well. There is real tradition in the area."
