Chairs, carpets and clothing: Outcry as Oldbury road hit by fly-tipper
Rubbish including broken chairs, carpets and clothing has been dumped in an Oldbury road.
Around 10 bags of household waste including used paint trays and brushes was left in Western Road, outside Langley Green Station.
Garden waste and a bed mattress was also left higher up the road.
The road is a key link into Oldbury town centre.
A nearby resident, who did not wish to be named, said: "I spotted it on my way to work and it has been there for over a week now. It is unacceptable that people do things like this."
A Sandwell Council spokesperson said: "The council is investigating this report of fly-tipping. People can report fly-tipping using our online form at sandwell.gov.uk/flytipping"
A fresh crackdown on fly-tipping across the borough was launched earlier this year as the clean-up bill topped £180,000 in 12 months.
