Travellers blamed for drop in visitors at Cannock's Chase Leisure Centre
Travellers have been blamed for visitors numbers at Chase Leisure Centre falling below targets for the year.

More than 40 caravans descended on the car park in March causing outrage among locals. Now a report has revealed that between April 2015 and March this year there were 427,647 visitors despite a target of 428,899.
A report set to go before Cannock Chase District Council tomorrow said "This was also adversely impacted by the presence of travellers which produced an 11 per cent decrease in visits for the week compared to the same period in 2014/15."
