MORE rain for the West Midlands after recent flash flooding

Rain warnings are in place across the West Midlands again this week  after flash flooding in the region.

The Met Office has issued a yellow sever weather warning for rain meaning the public should 'be aware'.

The Met Office has warned: "Some locations will miss these but there where they do occur, please be aware of possible localised flooding and disruption to travel. Lightening could be an additional hazard."

At the back end of last week and over the weekend torrential rain bought flash flooding to many parts of the region.

Cars were left abandoned and houses were flooded as a deluge of water swamped roads and streets.
