Person hit by train between Rugeley and Stafford
A person was today hit by a train on the line between Rugeley and Stafford.

The incident which happened between Rugeley Trent Valley and Stafford stations, was causing delays of up to one hour.
National Rail said that delays were expected between Lichfield Trent Valley and Stafford/Stoke-on-Trent until around 4pm.
Some services were also being diverted between Rugeley Trent Valley and Stoke-on-Trent, not calling at Stafford and Stone.
Road transfers were operating between these stations.
