Jordan Edwards, of Terry Street, pleaded guilty to the single charge at Wolverhampton Crown Court yesterday.

Gary Wroblewski, aged 53, was found by paramedics in a road in Netherton on November 7 last year but could not be saved.

Edwards admitted causing the death of Mr Wroblewski after driving dangerously in his Seat Ibiza on Marriott Road and Cradley Road.

Judge James Burbidge QC adjourned the case until May 3 for a pre-sentence report to be compiled.

He told Edwards: "You have had the good sense to admit your responsibility for this crime - it is a very serious crime.

"I'm prepared to adjourn for reports so we can get testimonials to your character.

"The sentence to be imposed is an inevitable one of custody."

Edwards was remanded in custody.
