Man found dead in Wolverhampton canal named as 24-year-old
A man found dead in a canal in Wolverhampton has been named.

The body of Darren Scarlett, aged 24, of Badger Drive, Park Village, was found by a passer by in the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal around 12.30pm on Sunday March 20, an inquest heard yesterday.
It was discovered close to the New Regency Banqueting Suite, at the Wulfrun Trading estate in Fox's Lane, Dunstall.
An inquest opened at Sandwell Coroner's Court.
Coroner Zafar Siddique confirmed the cause of death was 'drowning, pending toxicology reports.'
At the scene, a cordon was put up while police officers, joined by technical support teams from West Midlands Fire Service investigated.
The inquest was adjourned to take place on May 9.
