Normally the stomping ground for football fans, Molineux will instead be drawing brides-to-be from across the region. The show will be held from 11am until 4pm and is free to attend.

The magazine's fifth wedding fair has been in the planning for many months and the finishing touches are being put to what promises to be another winning event.

General manager Tom Graham says: "It's so exciting for Wolverhampton Magazine to be hosting its annual wedding fair at Molineux for the first time.

"Since our inaugural show in 2012 the fair has been growing in size and the move to the new location means we will be able to cater for even more exhibitors.

"Visitors can browse up to 45 stands which will be offering everything couples need to plan their perfect day. As well as many familiar faces, we will be welcoming new exhibitors and for the first time a number of prestigious wedding venues will be attending."

Mr Graham adds: "Molineux is a landmark in Wolverhampton so where better to hold Wolverhampton Magazine's wedding fair?

"Join us in the modern WV1 suite overlooking the pitch and walk away with plenty of ideas for your dream day."

Visitors to the fair, sponsored by Cousins Furniture, will be able to browse stands specialising in all aspects of weddings, from dresses to cakes and flowers to photography.

New exhibitors for 2016 include Muse Bridal in Newport, Roger Scott Menswear in Stourbridge, Image Luxury Cars in Codsall and Phil Dignum Photography from Wolverhampton.

Plus, for the first time venues will be exhibiting, and Patshull Park Hotel, Mercure Wolverhampton Goldthorn Hotel, The Moat House at Acton Trussell and The Hundred House Hotel at Norton, near Shifnal, have all booked.

Return exhibitors include bridalwear boutique Mix-n-Match in Rugeley, Dream Days Bridal Wear in Dudley and menswear specialists Dapper Dan in Wednesfield, Peter Posh in Telford and Blooms in Wolverhampton. There's also Sarah Cussons Jewellery Design, ADT Photography and Wolverhampton-based Greyhound Classic Car Hire. For inspiration on bridal hair and make-up there will be exciting demonstrations during the day.
