It is the third year in a row the circus has performed in the town.

The first performance was last night and the all human circus is back in Longford Park tonight and tomorrow.

The circus has just finished a string of shows in Manchester and after Cannock it will be heading to Telford.

It features the UK's youngest juggler – Nia Jones, 12 – who juggles hoops, cubes, clubs and tennis rackets. Tracy Jones, who is the circus ring mistress, has promised fans a 'fantastic show'.

She said: "Our show is very modern, very fast paced and dynamic. Our cast are all quite young. We have a clown that's not like your normal clown.

"It's a show for the young and the old, for everybody really. It really is a fantastic show."

Asked about preparation, Ms Jones added: "It takes a day, day and a bit, to get everything finished and it takes about six hours to pack it all down and go back on the road. We're based in Bednall, Staffordshire, when we're not on the road so we're local.

"We've been going now for four years and have been to Cannock the last two years. But this year is a brand new show.

"We have just come back from Manchester where we did really well and the people were great. So I'm hoping the people of Cannock will come and support us.

"In the last couple of years the people have been lovely and really good.

"As the ring mistress my role is to make sure everything is running on time."
