Staffordshire road revamp which will support business development creating 2,200 jobs due to finish in spring
A major scheme to reconstruct a road in Staffordshire which will support a business development creating up to 2,200 jobs is due to finish this spring.

The 12-month reconstruction of part of the A34 at Meaford near Stone will pave the way for the construction of the new business park and gas fired power station by developer St Modwen.
Bosses today said work will finish before the Whitsun weekend in May.
The scheme, which was the county's second Government Growth Deal funded project to get off the ground, includes the construction of new roundabouts on Meaford Road at its junctions with the A34 and Rookery Lane to allow easy access to the business park site.
Meaford Road has been realigned and a new 300 metre road built into the business park.
As part of the scheme, access for pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders is also being improved.
The latest phase of the works will see Rookery Lane open again at the end of this month. Meaford Road is planned to open on schedule on May 24.
Staffordshire County Council's economy leader Mark Winnington said: "The Meaford scheme is an important one for Staffordshire as it will pave the way for over two thousand jobs and significant investment.
"This is the largest brownfield development site in the county and one we all want to see brought back into productive use. Our supporting works have not just been about building a new roundabout – it's all of the infrastructure that will make the site developable.
"We understand that these are busy roads and would like to thank people for their patience while the scheme is carried out. This is an important development for Staffordshire which will bring real economic benefits to our county."
