Motorists are facing disruption this week with roadworks to be carried out on the M5.

The slip road leading to the southbound carriageway at Junction 2 for Oldbury will be closed between 8pm and 6am each night until Friday.

Highways England will be carrying out drainage works on the slip road during the week.

It will mean drivers wanting to head south on the motorway having to get on at another junction or seeking an alternative route.

Work is also taking place further down the M5 between Junction 3 at Halesowen and Junction 4 tomorrow night.

The roadworks will see the motorway closed in both directions between 10pm and 5am.

This section of the motorway will be closed for essential resurfacing works to be done.
