Brierley Hill rubbish mountain finally being cleared
Work is under way to start clearing a huge rubbish mountain which has been blighting homes in Brierley Hill.

Rubbish once towered around 40ft at the Refuse Derived Fuel plant, in Moor Street, leading to a campaign from councillors and residents for a clean up.
Waste has been piled up at the site for more than six years leading to a length court battle to have it removed.
Residents had been left frustrated in their battle to get rid of the rubbish pile now standing at around 19ft.

It was a saga that resulted in High Court action with company director Robert McNaughton was jailed for failing to remove it in 2013.
However contractors yesterday moved onto the site to begin preparations to start moving the waste.
Officials from the Environment Agency say they have been working on the issue with landowners.
Marc Lidderth, environment manager at the Environment Agency, said: "We've been working closely with the landowners of the former RDF Ltd site to make sure the remaining waste is cleared, but not at the expense of the tax payer.
"The landowners have agreed to fund the clearance of the site and it is expected it will take approximately eight months to clear.
"We're informing local residents of these latest developments and would like to thank them for their support and patience.
"We are committed to ensuring that any impact of these works on the community is kept to a minimum and will liaise with the landowners throughout their work clearing the site."
