Police plea to trace missing Birmingham girl, 14
Police are appealing for help in tracing a 14-year-old Birmingham girl who has been missing since New Year's Eve.
Amena Drummond was last seen when she walked out of her Handsworth home on December 31.
A police spokesman said: "Officers have been working around the clock to find Amena safe and well. Friends and family have been spoken to and a number of addresses visited.
"Hours of CCTV footage from dozens of shops, railway stations and other places across the city have been scrutinised.
"We're also working with the independent charity Missing People who offer a 24/7 runaway helpline where youngsters can get help and support.
"Amena has been missing many times before but we won't stop looking for her. We also won't stop working with her, her family and other organisations to stop her from running away again and keep her safe."
Amena is described as black, 5'5" tall and of average build. She has brown eyes and brown shoulder-length brown hair. It is not known what she was wearing when she went missing.
Anyone who has seen Amena should call police immediately on 101.
