Fire crews tackle blaze at abandoned factory
An abandoned factory in Smethwick was ablaze this afternoon, shutting a road as three fire crews tackled the flames.

The fire at the derelict building on Bridge Street North started at 4.21pm this afternoon.
West Midlands Police closed the road and reopened it at around 7pm.
West Midlands Fire Service said they received six 999 calls about the incident.
Crews from Oldbury, Handsworth and Smethwick attended the scene with for breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one main jet used.
