Dubai fashion coup for homegrown actor Kiran
An actor and model with ties to the Black Country has led a huge fashion event and met the Abu Dhabi princes.

Kiran Rai, who was born in Nottingham but spent many years living in Dunstall Hill, Wolverhampton, was the face of the Shanghai Fashion Week at the Dubai World Trade Centre earlier this month.
Joined by five Russian supermodels, the 23-year-old took to the catwalk at the event, which ran from December 8 to 11.
"It is brilliant that a young boy like me who has come from England can come to Dubai and find success," said Rai.
"It is not about being famous, its about learning your craft and being top of your game."
Rai has previously made headlines for gate-crashing a screen test and landing a leading role in a Bollywood film.
