20 jobs up for grabs at Cannock's APC Overnight
Twenty jobs are still available at Cannock delivery giant APC Overnight following a recruitment drive.
In October, the firm made 100 new posts available at its National Sortation Centre at Kingswood Lake in preparation for the Christmas rush where they can typically process up to 50 per cent more items than a normal day.
The positions are predominantly for warehouse sorting staff to work throughout the night but there is a also a ongoing requirement for extra drivers as well.
Chief executive officer Jonathan Smith confirmed the majority of roles would be made permanent after the festive period.
He said: "We have just finished our latest recruitment drive but there are still 20 positions available.
"We do use temporary staff throughout the year but we would prefer to make the majority of these new positions permanent.
"It is our approach that when we get good people we want to keep them.
"We are continuing to grow and I can see us needing more people again this time next year."
