Complaint against Michael McIndoe solicitor
A complaint has been made against a Wolverhampton solicitor in connection with the failed investment scheme headed by ex-Wolves star Michael McIndoe.
Legal watchdog the Solicitors Regulation Authority said it wants 'to look more closely' into the complaint against Mike Dawson, who runs Dawson Solicitors in Mount Road, Tettenhall Wood, to help it decide 'what action may need to be taken'.
In a letter to a complainant, the authority adds: "We try to build a complete picture of the issues involved, which can be time consuming."
Documents seen by the Express & Star suggest Mr Dawson acted for Mr McIndoe as recently as last year. No wrongdoing is implied. The Solicitors Regulation Authority confirmed it had received a complaint. Mr Dawson was not available for comment.
