Wolves fan wins share of £250k jackpot after score predictions
A Wolves fan has landed part of a £250,000 jackpot after he correctly predicted the scores in six football matches.
Kieron Owen from Cannock picked the scores at odds of 130,000/1 in the popular Soccer Saturday Super 6 prediction game.
But Mr Owen's win was bittersweet after it emerged he would be sharing the jackpot with 38 other people who also nailed the scores.
He will receive his winnings at a pitchside presentation at Wolves' next home game, against MK Dons on November 28.
It is only the second time that more than one winner has landed the jackpot and only the 10th weekend all six results were correctly predicted by at least one person since the game began in 2008.
Mr Owen said: "I didn't realise I had won so I was shocked to say the least when they told me.
"Hopefully my good luck will now rub off on Wolves – they could certainly do with it at the moment."
Manchester United's 2-0 victory over Albion was among the results he predicted.
