Police warning over Walsall scamsters
Bogus traders are targeting pensioners in Walsall and scamming them out of hundreds of pounds, the police say.

The first incident happened at an address in Lawley Close, Shelfield.
A man claiming to work for Walsall Housing Group barged past an elderly homeowner and started searching the house, claiming he was looking for keys.
He then found a large amount of money and left, making off in a small white van.
He was described as white, over 6ft tall in height with a stocky build and a Midlands accent. It happened on October 9 between 12.30pm and 1pm.
On the same day, a man called at a house in Broad Meadow, Aldridge shortly after 1pm stating that he was from the council and was attending due to complaints about rats in the area. He said that he required £250 to fit pest control machines.
The victim said she only had her pension so the male accepted £100, stating that he was going back to his vehicle to fetch the devices. He did not return.
The man is described as white, between 5ft8ins and 6ft tall, aged 40 to 45, of heavy build and wearing dark coloured jeans, navy jacket, olive green and navy hooded jumper and a bobble type hat without the bobble. He also spoke with a Midland accent.
Police believe the two men could be linked.
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
