Six in court over attack on Watford fan Nic Cruwys
Six people accused of being involved in an attack in Wolverhampton which left Watford fan Nic Cruwys in a coma have appeared in court.
The six attended a brief hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court where the case was adjourned to a plea and case management hearing scheduled for December 4.
A trial has provisionally been fixed for a date in February.
Joseph Lister of Palmer Close, Wednesfield; Daniel Lloyd from Tillington Street, Stafford, Robert Beech of Springhill Road, Wednesfield, and Ryan Meer of Watling Street, Gailey - all aged 18 - appeared alongside two youths, aged 14 and 15 and both from Wolverhampton, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
They are all accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent to Mr Cruwys on March 7 this year.

All six are on bail, and part of their conditions ban them from entering the city centre during match days at Molineux, and also from visiting cities where Wolves are playing an away match.
Mr Cruwys, a 44-year-old father of two, suffered serious head injuries and was left fighting for life after he was brutally attacked in Little's Lane following the match between Wolves and Watford at Molineux last season.
