The Friends of Dartmouth Park
The Friends of Dartmouth Park took matters into their own hands when it came to improving their local park.
The group was established in 2008 to support the restoration of the historic park and has held free events for the community there ever since in an effort to encourage its use.
A sensory garden inside the grounds is funded and maintained by the Friends group, for others to enjoy.
It is now looking to install benches on site so people can relax and take in the beauty of Dartmouth Park and the sensory garden for hours at a time.
Treasurer Annete Welch said: "The sensory garden is an oasis, loved by all visitors to the park.
"New benches for people to sit and enjoy the garden would enhance the garden for everyone."
