Silverdale Lions

The community based youth team was formed by manager John Clarke five years ago and has won three league titles since then.

While the club has been enjoying continued success on the field, it has struggled to keep up with financial restrictions each year.

Thanks to the help of parents, coaches and the manager, they have managed to kit out the players and buy the equipment needed to run successful training sessions.

However, they now need to invest in a new kit worthy of champions, as well as improving the quality of balls and bibs which are vital to training.

Mr Clarke said: "A slice of this fund would impact every single player we have.

"New kits and equipment would make them comfortable, happy and more confident."
