Central Youth Theatre
Central Youth Theatre has been a mainstay in Wolverhampton for more than 30 years, providing once in a lifetime opportunities to young people with a passion for theatre.
Run by Jane Ward MBE since its inception, the group puts on theatre shows of the highest quality, utilising the best young talent the city has to offer.
From lighting and costume roles to centre stage experience, Central Youth Theatre has given more than 2,000 young people a chance to experience how life in theatre works.
In light of council funding cuts, the group has had to rely on fundraising more and more in recent years.
It is currently in the process of trying to secure a permanent home in the city centre so it can continue to nurture theatrical talent in the city for years to come.
