Cemetery Road Allotment Community Garden

Keen gardeners from Stourbridge are ready to allow the wider public to enjoy the fruits of their labour in honour of those they have lost.

The Cemetery Road Allotment Community Garden group consists of 14 green fingered gardeners, who grow their own fruit and vegetables and now want to open a community garden.

The garden would be built in the central plot of the allotments and would act as a site of remembrance to plot holders who have passed away.

It will contain a pond and benches in a beautifully landscaped and planted area, containing a summerhouse with tables and chairs, providing somewhere to relax when the rain comes down.

The groups plans include opening up the area for public BBQs in the summer and hosting community events in order to raise money for the continued upkeep of the allotments.
