Fire crews had to withdraw from the building for safety reasons after the fire spread to the roof.

Plant Street was closed off between Mill Street and A491 High Street causing some traffic to build up along nearby roads.

Station Commander Wesley Williams said crews from Brierley Hill had been first at the scene.

"We had reports of a fire within a vehicle repair shop which contained luxury cars and luxury car items," he said.
