Hundreds of Bank Holiday shoppers evacuated from Ikea Wednesbury
Hundreds of shoppers were evacuated from Ikea in Wednesbury today after steam from the kitchen set off an alarm.

Pictures from social media showed huge crowds waiting outside the superstore, at Junction 9 of the M6.
A IKEA spokesperson said: "The safety of our customers and co-workers is always highest priority for IKEA.
"We can confirm that the IKEA Wednesbury store was evacuated today at approximately 15:15 after the fire alarm was triggered by excessive steam in the restaurant kitchen.
"Following a swift evacuation customers were invited back into the store ten minutes later. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers".
