A comedian has released a hilarious online video as he prepares to face off against one of the world's top female wrestlers in a 'charity scrap' next month.

Jonny Cole will take on the World Female Wrestling Champion Marie Kristin Gabert - better known as Alpha Female - to raise funds for Women's Aid.

The muscle-bound German grappler weighs in at nearly 200lb and is known for her ability to vanquish opponents with one strike from her meaty forearm.

Cole, from Wednesbury, rose to fame on the back of a series of online videos featuring his tongue-in-cheek songs about life in the Black Country.

Now a full-time touring comedian, Cole has returned to YouTube to goad his opponent in advance of the September 11 contest.

Standing in front of the Black Country flag in the video, Cole says: "I don't know if her's that's scary, or it's just cos her's German.

"German's are scary by nature ay they really? They'm just born scary. Their language is scary alone."

Cole follows up with his own attempts at the 'scary' German accent, with his effort at 'I love you' sounding more like a declaration of war.

"Imagine having that whispered into your ear in the morning? It'd drive you crazy," he quips.

The video concludes with Cole warning: "And don't forget Alpha Female, we've dealt with your bullies coming over from Germany before," - in front of a map of British troops being pegged back by invading German forces.

The clip ends with Cole likening Alpha Female to Dolph Lundgren's Ivan Drago character from Rocky IV.

He told the Express & Star: "The video was just a bit of fun to spice things up before the big night.

"I'm sure she's taken everything in good spirits. Well, I hope she has.

"This is going to be the charity night of the year. It's a fundraiser with a bit of a difference - with more than a few surprises along the way."

In preparation for the event, Cole has brought in Hollywood action hero Scott Atkins - best known for his role as Hector in The Expendables 2 - to get him into shape.

"To be honest with the event just around the corner I think it's time I stepped things up on the training front," he added.

"When we started planning this it all seemed a long time away. Now it's just around the corner the nerves are jangling a bit."

The event takes place on September 11 at the Copthorne Hotel in Dudley. It also features live music from The Ronaldos, a stand-up show from Cole, food, and a disco until 1am.

Cole chose the charity Women's Aid as the night's beneficiaries. He said: "It's not very often people hear me talk about serious issues. Every year I pick one charity I try and help.

"I met a very special girl who was fortunate enough to have the help of Women's Aid. She was so brave, it really hit home. Women's Aid told me about the work they do - and how much more they could do if they had more funding.

"I don't think it's right some of the issues that women have to deal with, and I want to do my bit to help."
