Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen's makeover disasters: From tears and expletives to burning pianos
Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen knows a thing or two about design.
The 50-year-old has made a career out of being a homestyle expert, after a stint on 90's daytime show Changing Rooms, led him to later present the show from 2003 and 2004.
He may be one of Britain's most famous designers, but his quirky design and alternative choice of colours, isn't everyone's cup of tea.
And, they will no doubt be the ones praying the hardest that Laurence doesn't win the Lotto jackpot after the designer announced plans to give Stonehenge a controversial makeover if he scoops the big prize.
Laurence announces his latest wild idea in a spoof Lotto video for the#pleasenotthem campaign, which sees people desperately hoping Laurence, Piers Morgan and Katie Price don't ever win the main prize to stop them putting their crazy ideas into action.
While Laurence's video is a spoof, his makeovers were very much the real deal and no doubt left his "victims" wishing they were also a thing of make-believe for a Lotto campaign.
Known for his garish clothing choices - don't even mention those leather trousers - some of the frilly-sleeved designer's interior choices were just as bad as his outfit picks.
Cast your mind back to July 1998 when a woman named Susan was reduced to tears after one of Laurence's design projects transformed her extension into a Queen Anne plum-themed dining room.
Glancing up at your once-lovely extension to see interior maestro Laurence has mocked up portraits of you and your husband as King Charles II's long-time mistress Nell Gwyn and Samuel Pepys could well bring any grown man or woman to tears. It certainly had that effect on Susan.
And there are plenty of other examples, where Laurence's quirky designs have left his TV victims in shock!
In the series before Susan's Pepys disaster, another unlucky couple, Daniel and Natascha, fell foul of the expert's ideas when he filled their living room with bizarre animal-print stencils and a red carpet they had already decided to ditch.
After glancing at his changed lounge for the very first time, he shrieked: "Oh my God no. Oh my God. Oh £$%^!
"I hate it. I hate it. What am I going to do with it? It's going to have to go. All of it. Every single bit. It's terrible. It looks like a *%£@~'s palace."
During his time on Changing Rooms, Laurence got a reputation for his garish colour schemes and his choices were often met with immediate plans by the unlucky "victims" to repaint over his handiwork in white paint.
Clearly determined to keep up his reputation, he began using darker colours on the walls.
But this was ironically something that came back to bite him as earlier this year he ended up giving his own £1.6million home a magnolia makeover, replacing the loud decor, after failing to sell.
While Laurence is among millions who are hoping to secure Lotto jackpot success for his controversial Stonehenge plans, Piers Morgan and Katie Price have come up with ideas just as irritating.
Piers, is keen to build his own pier on Camber Sands with every attraction featuring his face.
And Katie wants to create a TV channel all about herself, 24-hours a day.
