Update: Severe Sandwell factory blaze believed to have been sparked by skip fire
A blaze which engulfed a Black County factory unit started after flames spread from a nearby skip, fire crews suspect.

At its peak on Saturday night, eight fire engines were called to the tackle the flames at the single-storey industrial unit off Howard Street, Hill Top.

One crew from Tipton remained at the site this morning, dampening down hot spots.Watch Commander Carl Habday, from Tipton fire station, said: "We think someone was burning off in a skip outside and that spread to the building."
West Midlands Fire Service has so far been unable to track down the owners of the factory unit, which was full of white goods including fridges.
A number of the surrounding units are today without power as fire crews were required to turn off an electrical station below the affected unit.
Watch Commander Habday added the fire had been confined to one unit due to the effective action of overnight fire crews.
