Woman dies after being hit by lorry near Lichfield
A woman has died after being struck by a lorry near Lichfield.

The woman - who was hit shortly after 12.40am at the junction of the A38 and Fradley Lane, between Fradley and Hilliard's Cross - was confirmed dead at the scene.
Jamie Arrowsmith, a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman, said: "Crews arrived to find a lorry and pedestrian that had been in collision.
"The pedestrian, a woman, had suffered significant injuries in the collision.
"Unfortunately, it quickly became evident that nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed dead at the scene.
"The lorry driver, a man, was assessed by medics and discharged on scene."
