Man charged after another found with knife wounds in Wolverhampton street

A man has been charged with wounding a 35-year-old man at an address near Oxley on Friday.

Thomas Rogers, of Stafford Road, Bushbury, was charged with a section 18 wounding offence following the attack at Lymer Road which saw the man taken to hospital with a knife wound at about 3.44pm.

Mr Rogers, an unemployed 44-year-old, is due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Monday.

A woman initially arrested on Friday as part of the investigation has been released with no further action taken.
