Caught on CCTV: Brazen burglars steal cash and jewellery from Rowley Regis home
This CCTV footage shows a group of brazen burglars who broke into a house in broad daylight and stole a safe containing a substantial amount of cash and thousands of pounds worth of jewellery.
The footage shows a man knocking on the door of a property in Rowley Regis. When there is no reply he is joined by two others and all three, with their faces covered, climb over the rear garden gate and break into the house.
They emerge from the house in Portway Road some time later on the afternoon of Thursday, April 30, with a safe containing cash and the jewellery.
Investigating officer DC Cheryl Jones said: "The family are devastated at the loss of the jewellery as much of it carries sentimental value.
"We have visited local jewellers and second-hand stores to make them aware should anyone bring the items in to try and sell them."
