100 cannabis plants found in raid on Black Country home

Around 100 cannabis plants have been seized by police following a raid at a house in Lower Gornal.

They were found growing in two rooms at a property in Pleasant View.

Police also discovered growing equipment including lamps.

A man been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and is being questioned by police.

The discovery was made by the Sedgley and Lower Gornal neighbourhood team.

On Monday, police found around 160 plants at a property in Churchfield Street, Dudley.

They were growing in the basement, two bedrooms and loft which police said had been converted for cultivation.

The plants were seized and were destroyed by police.
