Arrest after man stabbed in head in Dudley

A man has been arrested after another man was stabbed in the head and seriously injured in Dudley.

Police were called to Stepping Stones Medical Centre in Stafford Street, just after midnight this morning, where a 36-year-old man was taken to hospital with wounds to the back of his head and shoulder.

His injuries are serious but not life threatening.

The area has been sealed off while forensic experts examine the scene.

A 34-year-old man was arrested in Hockley less than an hour later after a vehicle involved in the incident was spotted by officers in Barr Street. He remains in police custody while enquiries continue.
