Callous thieves steal £400 from Kidderminster charity shop

Callous thieves broke into a Kidderminster charity shop and stole £400 in cash.

The incident happened between 4.30pm on Saturday, May 30, and 8am today at Kemp Hospice on Coventry Street.

PC Thomas Griffin, the investigating officer, said: "Stealing from a charity shop is thoughtless, completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated by police. I am eager to speak to anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area at the time, to help trace those who are responsible."

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident 111S of Monday 1 June.
