Man attacked by gang for phone in Kidderminster underpass

A man was assaulted and pushed to the ground in an underpass by a gang who robbed his mobile phone.

The victim, a lone man, was approached by four white men in hooded tops in Kidderminster town centre.

Police are seeking witnesses after the robbery, which took place at the underpass between Green Street and Comberton Hill at the traffic island.

The attackers assaulted the victim, pushing him, before stealing his phone, a grey Samsung S5.

Police say they then ran off in the direction of the town centre.

The robbery happened last Friday, May 8, at around 10pm.

The four male suspects are described as being in their teens or early 20s, around 6ft tall and wearing tracksuits with hoods up to obscure their faces.
