Teenager stabbed in Walsall park brawl
A 15-year-old boy and a man have been arrested following a fight in a Walsall park that left a teenager in hospital with knife wounds.
Police found a 16-year-old with slash and stab wounds to his back when they were called to Palfrey Park at around 7.30pm last night after reports of a disorder involving a group of young men.
A 15-year-old, from the Delves area, and a 27-year-old man from Caldmore were arrested in nearby streets on suspicion of wounding.
The injured teen is recovering in hospital where his condition is described as stable and his injuries are not life threatening.
A police scene has been held in Palfrey Park to preserve any evidence and to allow for a forensic search of the location.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the fight or who has information about those involved - they are urged to call West Midlands Police's Violent Crime Team at Wednesfield police station on the 101 number.
