Work begins on 38 homes to replace former crime-hit Wolverhampton pub
Building work has started to turn a crime-hit pub in Wolverhampton into affordable homes.

The former Bushbury Arms pub, on the Showell Circus roundabout, will get a new lease of life thanks to a partnership between The Wrekin Housing Trust and Bushbury Hill Estate Management Board.
The site will see the creation of 38 new homes for affordable rent consisting of one-bedroom apartments and two and four bedroom houses. There will also be parking space for more than 50 cars.
Work is expected to be completed by November next year.
Once completed, the homes will be managed by Bushbury EMB on behalf of the Trust.
Wolverhampton City Council gave the green light to the proposal earlier this year.
